I Hate Jacksonville Drivers

I commute to and from work for an hour of my life each day. My drive to work is fairly simple, no scary lane changes, no interstate mostly a straight shot. My drive home is pretty much the same, aside from an obnoxious merge at one point. BUT THE DRIVERS ARE IDIOTS. I swear that the slowest drives in Jacksonville are on the road at 6:30 am each morning, in front of me. They must be on the road that early because it takes them that long to get to their job by 7:30 or 8:00 am with the speeds they drive.

Then there are the idiots who pull out in front of you turning right at a light. When there is no room for them to turn. So I have to brake, thus expendng extra gasoline. My favorite driver bozo has to be my favorite is the one who turned left in front of me. FROM A LANE GOING STRAIGHT.

And there is always the person who was blowing at me this afternoon because I stopped at green light to avoid being in the middle of the intersection due to traffic back up. Which is what you are supposed to do. Only they had one of those horns that sounds like a train. I know you've heard of those on the news. They are annoying.

Are drivers in your city as bad as the ones here???

Ok, I have no one to tell this because no one is online and if I call my parents right now they will shoot me buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut...

I HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR MY PROFESSIONAL TEACHING LICENSE!!!!!! Finally!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEHAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This would be so much more fun if I was talking to a real person right now....

Waiting Annoys Me

So I waited all January for my file for my permanant teaching license. Only to find they had only counted me for ONE year of teaching experience.

BUT I'VE BEEN TEACHING TOO, DARNIT!!!

Nevermind they didn't tell me that my first half-year of teaching counted for nothing because I started AFTER the mid-year point (most likely by only a few days). Nevermind they didn't tell me I could call the county and ask for a "more than a half-year of teaching experience" for THIS year. So I find this out, call the county, have this neato form sent to Tallahassee to say I've taught long enough this year to get my second year of experience...

ONLY TO FIND THAT I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST FOR REVIEWS AND WAIT ANOTHER 30 DAYS BECAUSE I HAVE NEW PAPERWORK AND THE FILE HAS ALREADY BEEN "CONSIDERED" ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT'S ONE STUPID FORM THAT YOU WANTED! THAT'S IT!!! GRRRR! GRRRR! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
