I Dream

Occassionally I write the sappy, not always well-written poem. I'm feeling pretty alone at the moment, and I've basically talked to none of my friends for a few days. So sappy, mushy content warning. Beware.

I Dream

I dream of home
And it always seems so real
That when I wake up
I just want to be dreaming still

I dream of friendships
That mean so much to me
But when I reach out sometimes no one is there
And I find myself longing for something real

I dream of a home
Of a place to call mine
Of someone who I can spend my life with
And yet he is not here.

I dream of a time
When I no longer have to dream
Am I simply a stargazer?
Wanting to touch the sky, and never leaving the earth?
