I AM ALIVE

Wow, I haven't posted since January 25th. Here's my life in short since then:

1. I have been looking for a house since mid-February. I put an offer on a short sale (realty term meaning "pain in the butt sale that can last forever and possibly get you nowhere) on April Fool's. Maybe I was a fool to make that offer really, because I still don't have an official answer. It SOUNDS like they are going to take my offer soon but then again, I'm not liking the hush-hush proceedings. Knowing my luck I've not renewed my lease and I won't have anywhere to live soon.

2. School is out. I need the break, but I have a feeling it is going to be a painfully quiet summer. I should really be used to this by now. I THOUGHT I would be busy moving into a house, but see #1 again.

3. I am now attending First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. It's huge, but has a great single's department and a huge orchestra that I play in every week. Nice to go to Sunday school with people who are single like me and play my instrument, which I haven't really done consistently in a long time.

4. I am still a Star Wars role playing and watching, fantasy-loving junkie. No surprises there. I am annoyed that both Heroes and Lost are off for the season, and even MORE annoyed that Lost only has ONE MORE SEASON. Grrrr. I think I have someone to blame for my obsession with those two shows, and you know who you are. :P

And that's about it. Now you know why there as been no posting lately, there really hasn't been anything that grand happening other than every day life.
