A Long Time Coming

I don't have much in the way of updates per the moment. Well, then again, maybe I do. After multiple visits to advising at UNF, I have received a COMPLETE and CORRECT graduation evaluation. I received pre-approval to graduate yesterday via a signed letter from the Dean of the College of Education. Finally. I also received merit pay from the state of Duval county for the second year. And although I'm thrilled with the funds AND being ranked in the top 25 percent of ESE teachers in the county, I am also surprised that I have gotten it. I'm only a third year teacher, and some teachers that I think deserve it didn't get it because the evaluation we use on the kids to get it is appropriate for my students but not necessarily for older ones.

And Kate is coming to visit this weekend. Or at least, I hope so since I took Monday off and have a good substitute coming in.

So yeah, things are fairly good right now. For. Once.
